The funding limitation imposed on the Livestock Gross Margin for Dairy Cattle (LGM-Dairy) insurance program was eliminated via last month’s Federal budget agreement. In addition, dairy farm operators are now able to opt out of USDA’s Margin Protection Program for the remainder of the calendar year. Based on these two events, there has been a significant increase in producer interest in the LGM-Dairy program.
On March 28th from 9:30 – 11:00 am (CST) we will be conducting a webinar providing a review of program participation and structure.
